With hosting on Central Down you get the following:

Still interested? Feel free to apply below. Please answer the following questions:
1) Your desired subdomain (ie. http://yoursite.centraldown.com),
2) Your real name (used for security purposes), (Why?)
3) a FTP password,
4) a secret word (NOT the same as your password). (Why?)
5) What do you intend to do with your site? (ie. An online portfolio? A webcomic? Etc.)
If you require mySQL, please say so. I'll make your username/password the same as your FTP username/password.
Also please read the Rules of Conduct and Terms of Service. You will be responsible for abiding by them.
Info for Parents (feel free to ignore this if you aren't a parent)
I have received angry emails from parents several times over the years, asking me things like, "Why are you contacting my son? Why is he contacting you?" "Why do you want to know his real name?" "Give me your full, real name so that I may do a background check on you to see if your intentions are honorable." I'm not even kidding about that last one.
Rest assured, I'm not about to stalk your child. I ask for a real name for security purposes. Your son (or daughter) is contacting me because they want quality free hosting... something that isn't all that prevalent these days. And I'm certainly not going to give you all my personal info so that you may do a background check on me.
Lets be honest. There is no way I can verify that every single person who asks for hosting is over 18 without asking them for a scan of their drivers licence (something I'm not going to do). If you don't want your son or daughter to have hosting here, then don't let them. Send them to geocities or some other crappy host. It's not my responsibility to babysit your kids online. If they ask for hosting and meet the criteria, they'll probably get it. If this worries you, get them off the computer and send them outside to play or something.

- An artistic site (any type of art: could be your band, your drawings or paintings, your web work, whatever)
- A real site. I'm not offering space so that you can host your forum signatures or avatars. If you apply for a site, you get space to make a site.

With hosting on Central Down you get the following:
- Unlimited disk space: I don't much mind how much disk space you use. I have gigs and gigs of it. At the same time, if you start uploading tons of massive files, I'll get a little annoyed.
- Subdomain hosting: Your address, should you apply, will be something like http://yoursite.centraldown.com. You can then point a domain to this if you please, or just leave it as is.
- Lots of Traffic: Central Down gets a lot of traffic, and considering that there are links to Cedo hostees on every page of the site, you'll get visitors.
- All the features: With Cedo hosting you get all the features you want or need. mySQL, PHP, CGI, whatever. I don't even know half of what I have to offer, but chances are if you want it, I probably have it.
